Charlotte de Witte to donate 100% of new EP proceeds to the Nighttime Foundation

Charlotte de Witte is turning her latest release into a way to give back to the club culture that helped shape her career.

The techno star announced that her new three-track EP, “The Resistance,” will arrive Sept. 24 on her KNTXT label, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Nighttime Foundation. The organization works to support and protect nightlife and club culture, making the release more than just another addition to de Witte’s growing catalog.

The EP brings together three tracks that de Witte has already been putting to the test in her sets around the world, giving fans a chance to hear the songs in full while supporting the foundation at the same time. “The Resistance” kicks off the release and features Theo Nasa, while “See Through The Lies” brings in XSALT. The final track, “Another Place,” rounds out the three-song project.

Three tracks, one mission

De Witte shared the news with a simple message: “The Resistance is coming.” The Belgian DJ and producer has long built her KNTXT platform around techno and the wider culture surrounding it, and this EP puts that community front and center. Rather than simply releasing the tracks as another standalone project, she is directing all proceeds toward an organization focused on keeping nightlife and club spaces alive.

The release also arrives as de Witte continues to bring her sound to dance floors around the world. For fans who have already heard snippets of the tracks during her sets, Sept. 24 marks the chance to finally get the complete release.

The full tracklist includes:

  • “The Resistance” feat. Theo Nasa
  • “See Through The Lies” feat. XSALT
  • “Another Place”

With every dollar from the EP headed to the Nighttime Foundation, the release gives fans a direct way to support the club scene while adding three new Charlotte de Witte tracks to their playlists.

De Witte ended her announcement with a message that sums up the purpose behind the project: “Protect Club Culture.”

I've been writing, covering events, and doing interviews with Exron for nearly four years, but have been an EDM-lover for over a decade. The music community and industry has a special place in my heart and I love exploring the depths. EDC Las Vegas is my favorite festival and this year will be my sixth time attending. Some other recent festivals I've been are Ultra, Elements, Lost Lands, Electric Forest, and Arc. I've been getting more into experimental bass, but techno and house will always have my heart. <3
