Warner Records has announced the launch of its electronic music label, Major Recordings, headed by executive Sam Mobarek.

Warner Records announced that they are launching Major Recordings, a label solely focused on electronic dance music. Founded in 1958, the Warner Music Group is the third largest label, cementing itself in the music industry. They have worked with critically-acclaimed producers RÜFÜS DU SOL, ILLENIUM, and David Guetta.

Their first signed act with FFRR Records has been dubbed the future of electronic music. PARISI is currently helping evolve the scene with its high-quality production. The duo has worked with iconic artists like Fred again.. and Swedish House Mafia. They have also worked with musicians in other genres such as Black Eyed Peas and Ed Sheeran.

Sam Mobarek will head Major Recordings, bringing in her marketing experience with positions at Mob Creative, Ultra Music, Lifestyle, and Beatport. She is committing fully to curating a label focused on uplifting some of the most innovative artists in music.

Mobarek and Warner Records’ COO Tom Corson and CEO Aaron Bay-Schuk, have helped support the careers of BLOND:ISH, Eliza Rose, Skin on Skin, and several other producers. Major Recordings will go beyond borders, working with other labels and artists in numerous countries.

Along with releasing unique music, Major Recordings is honing in on the community as a whole. They are firm in their mission to promote inclusivity and diversity as well as independent artists. The executives are dedicating their skills to the genre’s roots and releasing music that reflects electronic music.

The new label under Warner Records is already making a mark on the scene. ‘Church,’ PARISI’s EP with Buy Now, offers a fresh, chill take on electro house with synths, harmonizations, and chimes scattered on the progressive melody. With strong artists already being signed, the future is bright and ever-expanding.
