Rising star COCCo BEA reveals new disco pop take on Robbie Williams’ hit song ‘Feel’

Cocco Bea transforms Robbie Williams’ emotional classic into a revamped disco-pop hit.

Cocco Bea’s personal philosophy is: “Feel everything. Dance anyway,” and this couldn’t be more evident with her new release of the reimagined 2002 hit ‘Feel,’ originally written by Robbie Williams. Cocco Bea breathes new life into the powerful lyrics with a groovy pop infusion to create a more upbeat version of the original tune.

Originally released by Williams in 2002, ‘Feel’ became known for its raw display of loneliness and the desire for genuine human connection. More than two decades later, Cocco Bea takes those same themes and places them within a lighter, disco-pop inspired context.

For Cocco Bea, the emotional weight of the original was what made the song worth coming back to all these years later. She says the track has always resonated with her, particularly its exploration of connection in an increasingly disconnected world.

“‘Feel’ has always been one of those songs that hits me right in the chest,” Cocco Bea says. “There’s something so honest about the lyrics and that feeling of wanting to feel loved, connected, and truly alive. I think that’s something we all understand, especially in a world where it can feel harder and harder to genuinely connect with each other.”

Rather than attempting to recreate the original, the reimagined track maintains the emotional core while introducing a more vibrant energy, allowing listeners to experience its themes through movement.

“I wanted to give that vulnerability a new body,” she says.

That balance between hard hitting lyrics and an upbeat production is central to Cocco Bea’s identity as an artist. Her music embraces the full spectrum of human emotion, creating space for her fans to sit with the difficult moments while still finding reasons to celebrate.

“I write for people who feel everything deeply, the messy parts, the beautiful parts, the heartbreak, and the joy,” Cocco Bea says. “I’ve always believed vulnerability doesn’t have to be heavy. Sometimes you can cry, dance, and feel completely alive at the same time.”

With ‘Feel,’ Cocco Bea puts that philosophy directly into practice. The revamped single turns a song rooted in vulnerability into an invitation to embrace emotion without letting it keep you still.

Based in Denver now, or better known as the “Bass Capital,” but I grew up in a small town in Colorado called Montrose. I came to the big city for college and just never left. One day I reconnected with a friend from my hometown and she told me she was a drum and bass DJ and took me to a couple of her sets. It all snowballed from there. I fell in love with the DnB community and, later, the EDM community as a whole. I love listening to Subfocus, Rezz, Subtronics, and Griz. Hoping 2027 is the year for my first festival!
