Red Rocks experiences snow storm during Anjunadeep Open Air show

Fans danced away in the heavy snowfall that blanketed Red Rocks Amphitheatre this past weekend during the Anjunadeep Open Air show.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre, one of America’s most cherished outdoor venues, hosted an unforgettable Anjunadeep Open Air show that took an unexpected turn when an October snowstorm rolled in. Concert-goers bundled up in layers as the evening transformed into a surreal winter wonderland. Despite the freezing temperatures, the sold-out show continued creating an unusual yet magical night in its own way.

Anjunadeep, an electronic music label known for its deep house, brings fans a different side of electronic music — one that’s less about high-energy beats and more about creating a mellow, immersive vibe. It’s the sister label to Anjunabeats, started by Above & Beyond, and it’s been building a loyal fan base since 2005. The label’s Open Air shows take this music outdoors, letting fans experience it in natural settings.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre, located just outside Denver in Morrison, Colorado, is famous not just for its acoustics but for its stunning red rock formations that surround the stage. Open since 1941, it’s hosted countless legendary performers and has become a must-visit destination for music lovers from around the world. The combination of incredible sound and breathtaking views has cemented its reputation as a one-of-a-kind place for live music.

The Anjunadeep lineup for Red Rocks on November 3rd featured an impressive array of artists, each bringing their unique sound to the legendary venue. CRi delivered a captivating live set, while Dosem and Qrion teamed up for an exciting back-to-back performance. Fans also enjoyed deep, melodic sets from Marsh, Nils Hoffmann, Rezident, and Romain Garcia, making for an unforgettable night.

Anjunadeep’s show at Red Rocks was meant to be a mellow night under the stars, but the snow added a whole new dimension. As the night continued, snowflakes, paired with the signature beats, created a cinematic atmosphere. Wrapped up in blankets and coats, fans watched the snowfall as Anjunadeep’s music filled the night air, making the experience feel intimate.

This snow-filled night at Red Rocks was a perfect example of how live music can create a connection, even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. For both Red Rocks and Anjunadeep, it was a reminder that some of the best concert memories come from the surprises. Fans were left with a night they’ll never forget — proving that sometimes the magic of live music lies in the unexpected.

Hey everyone, I'm Neil! I first joined the dance community back in 2019 when my friend dragged me to Moonrise, my first-ever music festival, and I became hooked ever since. I like to dabble in all genres with my favorites being house, techno, and dubstep. Some of my favorite artists include Anyma, I Hate Models, Pawsa, John Summit, Massano, GRiZ, Excision, and too many others to name. Catch me on the dance floor somewhere in Brooklyn!
