Desert Air Festival launches partnership with private jet service Aero for unique travel package
Private jet company Aero and Desert Air festival have collaborated to provide music lovers with a first-class travel experience to and from the festivities.
Aero is a book-by-the-seat private jet service that brings travelers to unique destinations, like Aspen, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, to name a few. Presented by Splash House and Goldenvoice, Desert Air has teamed up with Aero to launch their “Desert Aero” travel package ahead of the festival after they recently started flying between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The musical gathering occurs at the Palm Springs Air Museum on November 15 and 16 in Palm Springs, California, also home to Coachella.
As part of the $2,000 Desert Aero travel package, passengers are treated to an elevated experience while partying “from tarmac to tarmac,” according to the website. It includes round-trip Aero flights between Los Angeles and the Palm Springs area and a two-Day VIP pass to Desert Air. Comfort and style go hand-in-hand aboard Aero’s prime black jets with a top-shelf open bar and top-tier amenities, including Starlink Wi-Fi and complimentary refreshments from Erewhon.
Founded in 2021, Aero has framed itself as one of the most-premier ways to travel in style. The partnership between Desert Air and the aviation company celebrates the open skies with this music series set in the California desert. Desert Aero is convenient because travelers can arrive 20 minutes before their flight arrives at a private terminal. Since there are only 16 seats on each flight, it gives the illusion of an exclusive and intimate experience with VIP amenities, so it makes sense why the VIP passes are included. Booking information is available on the Aero website.
Anyone who chooses to partake in the deal will board a departing flight on Friday, November 15 from Van Nuys Airport to Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport at 5:15 pm and land at 6:10 pm. Friday’s first set is scheduled to begin around 4 pm so travelers should plan accordingly. There’s ample time to rest before boarding the return plane from Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport on Sunday, November 17 at 6:15 pm and landing at Van Nuys Airport at 7:10 pm.
Fans can dance to electronic music in the Mojave Desert across two open-air locations. Poolside sets, cultural programming, water activities, and expansive food and beverage offerings will be available at the newly launched Palm Springs Surf Club during the day. Eclectic tastemakers and genre-bending DJs like Kaytranada, Jamie xx, SG Lewis and Tove Lo presenting Club Heat, Shygirl, and Sammy Virji, will make it a one-of-a-kind memory.
At night, the party continues on the iconic grounds of the Palm Springs Air Museum. The venue is a popular electronic music spot because of its open-air tarmac, industrial hangers, and historic aircrafts that add to the festival’s appeal.
