III Points 2024: A Festival Made With Love

The eclectic two-day electronic and alternative music festival returns to the heart of Miami at Mana Wynwood Convention Center.

Round of applause for III Points Miami! Miami celebrates its 11th edition of III Points with featured performances from electronic music artists such as Justice, Disclosure, Rezz, ISOxo PAWSA, Sara Landry, Mochakk, Soulwax, and Jamie xx.

After all, Founder David Sinopoli and his team devote their heart and soul to this project every year. Everything from the art installations, to the stages, to the set times is mindfully curated and thought out.

About The Lineup

The magic behind III Points is the underground music scenes across multiple genres such as rap, house, techno, bass, alternative, jam band, experimental, etc. Notably, 75% of the lineup consists of independent artists from Miami, highlighting the festival’s dedication to showcasing local and underground Miami talent.

Moreover, Miami creatives such as MARTE, Natalia Roth, Monoky, Ms. Mada, and Phiphi continue to create Miami’s foundation by inspiring other local Miami artists to chase the freedom of life through art and creativity.

Our Favorite stage: 444

III Points Festival introduced its brand new stage 444, in collaboration with Apple Music and renowned French loudspeaker manufacturer L-Acoustics. Notably, the 444 stage is described as a “dancefloor outside of time and space”. The art of this stage is how it is intentionally designed to encourage connection with no grand stage or DJ fully visible upon walking in.

Positively, it is easy to get lost in this stage, with its unique sonic and light show experience. The music and bass move through you, with you, and around you, all within a three-dimensional space. The 444 Stage hosts three four-hour sets each night from underground royalty Yu Su, Seth Troxler, Heidi Lawden, Pachanga Boys, and DJ Koze; also including a special B2B from Miami’s own Danny Daze and Maher Daniel.

Top DJ Sets at III Points

Every artist chosen to play at III Points brings their edge to the table. Furthermore, we felt so grateful to experience these artists who deserve an honorary mention in this article, in no particular order.

Sara Landry at Rc95

Of course, the queen of hard techno certainly brought the house down on Saturday night. Sara Landry closed out the III Points festival with banger after banger. This queen has a special ability to completely control and captivate the crowd with her powerful presence and talented skill.

Rezz at RC95

It is no surprise that Rezz killed her III Points set upon the release of her new EP album Novus. Granted, a pinnacle moment was when Rezz broke fans’ brains with a continuous and dare I say, NASTY drop. It has not left our mind since.

The crowd was fully present, embracing the bass entering and moving through the body. In summary, it was everything and more we imagined experiencing.

Player Dave at Rc95

This Saturday night set was nothing short of ethereal, multidimensional, and innovative. Player Dave’s music covers a wide range of tempos and genres. Moreover, the music in general has a presence that you can vibe to, get jiggy with, or go crazy with.

Beltran at Isotropic

Beltran brings an unmatched energy with her joyful presence. Indeed, Beltran’s Brazilian influence is seen in his tech house music. Likewise, you get through drums, a solid groove, and a heavy bass that moves through the crowd. The crowd got silly and could not stop bouncing.

Pawsa at Mind Melt

Pawsa makes it to the III Points mainstage for a legendary set. Banger after banger, Pawsa had the crowd electric, grooving to every song, and singing every lyric. Other the collecting the commas, fans were collecting IDs!

All things considered, the highlight moment of PAWSA’s set was when he played the song of PAWSA summer “PICK UP THE PHONE (feat. Nate Dogg)”. Furthermore, the tech house king also played “COLLECT THE COMMAS”, “TOO COOL TO BE COOL”, and all-time classic “The Groovy Cat”

Crowd Space and Energy

One thing that stood out the most this weekend was the crowd space. With a mega lineup for the eleventh anniversary, the III Points team managed music set times and possible conflicts with mindfulness and grace. Ultimately, this made the festival an easy and enjoyable map to navigate.

To sum up, traveling from each stage was effortless. The festival signs at every major intersection, corner, and stage entrance help attendees navigate each set. It helped the most that the names of the artists were displayed continuously on the LED screens.

Final Thoughts

If you are searching for a music festival to see your favorite artists and discover new artists, III Points Miami is the place to be. Looking to get lost in a high-technology sound system where four hours will go by as quickly as 60 seconds? Go to III Points Miami. Bravo to the III Points team for a fantastic job.

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.
