Insomniac Music Group launches internal publishing vertical
Insomniac expands its electronic dance music-focused business portfolio with its newest internal publishing venture.
Insomniac Music Group has officially launched Insomniac Publishing, a new internal publishing vertical aimed to help flourish the careers of talented artists, writers, and imprints within the electronic dance music sphere. This initiative showcases Insomniac’s commitment to producing high-impact music while providing its artists, labels, and sync partners with the necessary resources to thrive.
The newly established publishing vertical features an impressive roster of writers, including 2Night Management (Matroda, San Pacho, Bruno Furlan), Aryay, Avi Snow, Benni Ola, and Rami Jrade, among many others. They’ve all gained recognition through a series of successful writing camps held at Insomniac HQ in Los Angeles, resulting in tracks that are already making waves in the industry. Contributions from this roster can be heard on tracks like Gordo and Drake’s “Sideways,” AMÉMÉ’s “Richa,” and Dillon Francis & Galantis’ “Pretty Low.”
Additionally, Insomniac Studios, the creative hub for this venture, boasts two state-of-the-art writing and recording rooms that have hosted over 100 unique artist sessions since its completion. The facility includes a fully equipped Mainstage studio for production and vocal recording, as well as a premier Dolby Atmos room for immersive audio experiences.
The launch of Insomniac Publishing is also complemented by an impressive catalog featuring over 1,000 songs across various electronic dance music subgenres. This extensive library aims to streamline the licensing process, catering to a wide array of high-profile partners such as Amazon MGM Studios, Netflix, and Paramount. Recent sync placements include music featured in popular TV shows like Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount+ and The Lake on Amazon Prime.
Rami Jrade, a standout talent from the new publishing roster, has achieved significant success in the sync space, securing placements with major brands like Apple and Coca-Cola. His work highlights the potential for Insomniac Publishing to not only elevate individual artists but also to forge strong connections within the broader media landscape.
As Insomniac Music Group continues to evolve, the establishment of Insomniac Publishing reinforces the company’s role as a key player in the global music industry. To stay up to date with news surrounding this exciting new venture, make sure to follow Insomniac on social media for further updates.
