Palm Tree Festival expands West Palm Beach edition to two-day event

Palm Tree Festival doubles down in West Palm Beach with two days of superstar DJs and tropical vibes, marking its massive 2027 return.

Palm trees, superstar DJs, and hot weather in the wintertime? That’s what Palm Tree Music Festival has locked in as they’ve officially expanded its West Palm Beach edition to two days. Set to bring the tropical party back on February 6th and 7th, the festival gives fans another reason to start planning their winter escape after a miraculous debut. Apparently, one day in paradise has officially become insufficient.

The announcement follows a hugely successful inaugural West Palm edition, which drew about 11,000 concert-goers to the city’s waterfront for a sold-out gig headlined by Calvin Harris and Kygo. The lineup also featured electronic favorites Sofi Tukker and BUNT., helping transform downtown West Palm Beach into a destination for dance music fans. With tickets selling out and the number of activations they’ve offered, demand made a strong case for giving the festival an extra day.

Palm Tree Crew and Related Ross also have locked in a four-year partnership with West Palm Beach, creating a foundation for the event’s continued growth. The festival’s debut attracted visitors from beyond South Florida, with reported attendance data indicating that 85% of attendees have traveled from all over. Local restaurants and bars indeed loved the influx, as festival-goers took the weekend to explore the city beyond the dance floor.

The expansion arrived as West Palm Beach navigated a changing festival landscape following SunFest’s absence in 2026. While Palm Tree Music Festival has not officially declared itself a replacement, its strong debut and long-term contracted commitment have made it a major contender in the city’s evolving live-music scene.

Organizers have confirmed the 2027 edition will run across the first weekend of February, with the lineup yet to be revealed. Fans have been encouraged to register for the lineup announcements and presale details, with the artist reveal expected next week. Until then, speculation about which global dance music names will make the trip has already begun.

What also adds to the experience is its carefully curated bookings, premium hospitality, and intimate festival atmosphere. While organizers traveled all over every chic and exotic spot on the plane, Palm Tree’s landing in Florida continues to build a distinct identity in the live-event market. Next year’s edition will include more music, more sunshine, and more ways to take in the winter escape.
