Soulja Boy sets his sights on the White House with potential 2028 run

Soulja Boy discusses public service and opportunities for the next generation while preparing for his 2026 USA Tour

Soulja Boy has introduced the possibility of a presidential run in 2028, sharing a post that outlines his interest in public service. The rapper posted a photo of himself standing in front of an American flag with the caption SOULJA BOY 2028.

In his post, Soulja Boy described the move as “a new chapter” and “a bigger vision.” He said he wants to create opportunities for the next generation, drawing on his experience in music, business, and technology. He also described the potential move into public service as something he is currently exploring, rather than announcing a formal campaign.

The rapper named four areas he wants to focus on: economic opportunity, criminal justice reform, education, and the future of technology and artificial intelligence. The post did not include specific policy proposals, instead inviting followers to engage with the idea as he explores what a move into public service could look like.

Meanwhile, the Soulja Boy USA Tour 2026 flyer lists dates from October through December, with stops across several states. The schedule includes college shows at Virginia State University, Clark Atlanta University, and the University of Central Florida. Other bookings include Las Vegas, Dallas, and Nashville, alongside dates marked as private events.

The tour promotion also promises live performances, behind-the-scenes footage, and Twitch coverage. Soulja Boy described the run as a celebration of 19 years of music and encouraged fans to suggest additional cities. With college appearances and private bookings among the listed dates, the flyer presents a mix of events rather than a traditional run of public concert stops.

For now, the 2028 post remains an expression of interest rather than a confirmed bid for office. Soulja Boy has introduced his priorities but has yet to outline a campaign or explain how his public service ambitions might develop. His tour continues through December, keeping music and live content at the center of his current plans as the political conversation begins.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
