LP Giobbi forced to miss EDC Colombia after passport is stolen

LP Giobbi shares heartfelt apology following unfortunate last-minute EDC Colombia cancellation.

Electronic music artist LP Giobbi was forced to miss her scheduled performance at the inaugural EDC Colombia after her passport was stolen. She shared the disappointing news with fans through a statement on social media.

“South America has given me some of the most unforgettable nights of my life, and I’ve been counting down the days to be back with you,” she wrote.

The event marked EDC Colombia’s first-ever edition, making it what would have been LP Giobbi’s debut appearance at the festival. However, the artist is no stranger to Colombian audiences. In October 2023, she performed in Bogotá alongside Swedish House Mafia during their Latin American tour. She returned to Bogotá in 2025 for Baum Festival and has also performed in other South American countries, including Peru and Brazil. She is scheduled to return to the continent for Creamfields Chile in Santiago on November 14–15.

In her announcement, LP Giobbi also acknowledged the disappointment of fans who had planned to attend her set, writing, “Knowing you were planning to be there makes this so much harder.”

Beyond her career as a DJ and producer, LP Giobbi is a pianist, label founder, entrepreneur, and advocate for women and gender-expansive people in electronic music. Through initiatives such as FEMME HOUSE, she has worked to expand opportunities and representation within the industry.

She concluded her statement with an apology: “I’m so sorry to every fan and to the EDC family. I promise I’ll make it up to you.”

Her next publicly announced performance is scheduled for Creamfields Chile in Santiago, followed by an appearance in Las Vegas on November 21 and Day Zero Festival in Tulum, Mexico, on January 9, 2027.
