TCHAMI, DIPLO, AND VALENTINO KHAN RELEASE ‘JUST YOUR SOUL’ REMIX-LISTEN HERE

For the commencement of the new decade, record label Mad Decent just dropped a new single titled ‘Just Your Soul’. The tribal techno house bop, created by industry superstars Tchami, Diplo, and Valentino Khan, is the first single to drop off an unreleased album of remixes by Valentino Khan. Although merely a taste for the slew of new music to come, the track’s star power shines bright. Diplo’s recent embroilment in house music (i.e. the fission of Higher Ground as a tributary, yet stand-alone, record label to Mad Decent) has created an uproarious surge in house hype and this track hops on that bandwagon.

When listening to ‘Just Your Soul’ it could be described as the perfect combination of Higher Ground’s emerging house brand, Tchami’s rural tribalism, and Khan’s staccato traditionalism. Tchami’s rainforest vibes, as seen in many of his prominent works like ‘Adieu’, soothe while the looping percussion of house revs and reverberates.
