BIG GIGANTIC RELEASES SOULFUL ‘BURNING LOVE’ EP FEATURING KIDEPO, NEVVE, AND ASHE

After years of focusing on live sets and releasing teasing tidbits, Big Gigantic just dropped an EP titled ‘Burning Love’, featuring four starry-eyed tracks. According to Big Gigantic, this EP is the appetizer for their long awaited album, set to drop in March. The anticipated album is set feature artists such as Pell, Felly, TOBi, Jennifer Hartswick, Louis Futon, The Funk Hunters, and more.

The ‘Burning Love’ EP is the perfect mix of electro pop and funk, a sound to be expected from Big Gigantic. The hooks are catchy, airy, and, best of all, feature those signature jazz interludes. The first two tracks, ‘Burning Love’ feat. Kidepo and ‘Where I Wanna Be’ are particularly enjoyable because of the internment saxophone solos sprinkled throughout the music. The final two songs on the EP, ‘Friends’ feat. Ashe and ‘You’re The One’ feat. Nevve don’t feature a saxophone solos, rather jazzy brass ensembles and trumpet sound offs.

The vibrant sonic journey that ‘Burning Love’ provides the listener is both soulful and refreshing to say the least.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
