BORIS BREJCHA RELEASES FIERY TRACK “TO THE MOON AND BACK” AHEAD OF ALBUM

As the overture for his forthcoming album, Boris Brejcha just dropped his new single “To the Moon and Back”. The track is a robust club jam featuring a trailblazing production and is out now via Ultra Records. Space Diver, his unreleased album, is set to drop in just a few days’ time on January 24th. The track stands alongside Brejcha’s previous singles including “Lieblingsmensch”, “Never Look Back”, “Happinezz” and more.

For the up-and-coming year, a lot lies ahead for Brejcha: he’s scheduled to perform in Dusseldorf, Mannheim, Lyon and Brussels as well as South American hubs in April and May. For those unfamiliar with the German techno producer, he performs while wearing an ornate joker mask, oddly reminiscent of Commedia dell’Arte. The mask allows him to remain incognito when spinning records, while also paying tribute to his formative years as a DJ in Brazil under the cultural influence of Carnival.

Brejcha describes his sound as “high-tech minimal” which could not be a better personification of his music. The beat is consistent, looping, and minimalist – it builds atop itself and merges into new rhythms, while staying streamlined and concise.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
