Love In The Air At Okeechobee Music Festival 2023
Here’s what you missed (or what you can relive!) at Okeechobee 2023.
Okeechobee is considered home for many festival-goers who continue returning year after year. The atmosphere, lineup and amenities are perfectly curated for a magical experience. It is even the place where some have met their lifelong partners. “Love, Care and Connection Above All” is one of the Okeechobee mottos and the love was truly tangible at this year’s festival. Throughout the four days, there were quite a few engagements and even marriages on the festival grounds. Take a look at some remarkable moments lovers shared with other attendees.
Wreckno’s Big Gay Soiree hosted a special surprise when a couple, Ivana and Danielle, were brought on stage for their engagement. The couple shared their special moment with many other attendees who cheered them on. The same-sex engagement was very on brand for the gay soiree and a highlight of the festival. Congrats to Ivana and Danielle on their engagement!
Not only were couples getting engaged at the festival, but one couple even got married at OMF 2023. Trinity and Juan performed their marriage ceremony at OMF on the shores of Aquachobee surrounded by friends and festival-goers. Despite the windy and hot conditions, there were beautiful blue skies for the ceremony. Congratulations to @g0renight on Instagram!
This was not the first year for lovers at Okeechobee Music Festival and it certainly won’t be the last. Many partners not only meet at festivals but it becomes an integral part of their relationship and how they bond with one another. There is no better place to connect than Okeechobee. The motto “Be. Here. Now.” encourages attendees to be present and build connections with others. This has sparked many romantic relationships that continue beyond the festival’s limits. Congratulations to all the couples who were engaged and married at Okeechobee Music Festival 2023!
