DMVU drops new EP ‘Lap Dog’ via Of The Trees’ Memory Palace label
DMVU releases his latest EP, Lap Dog, available now across all major streaming platforms.
DMVU recently debuted another impressive EP, Lap Dog. This EP was released last week via Memory Palace’s label, run by Of The Trees. DMVU’s bass music has captivated fans throughout the scene, and this latest release is no exception.
Earlier this month, on August 7th, DMVU debuted the first track of this project, “Teliscope”, a complex bass banger featuring Herbalistik. This is the only collaboration piece of the EP, with DMVU’s other tracks being solely his.
The four other songs on this project are “Killa”, “Lap Dog”, “Milk Fang”, and “Monolith”. Fans can expect these tracks to be vastly different from the collaboration, encapsulating his mind-bending sounds that are redefining the ever-changing experimental bass scene. DMVU draws inspiration from hip-hop and beyond, incorporating a multitude of genres throughout the EP.
‘Lap Dog’ reflects DMVU’s unique style, as this project was created entirely on his own terms. Memory Palace, the label it was released under, works with some of the hottest artists in bass music today that continue to shape the scene. Tape B and Of The Trees’ collaboration track, “Brackish“, was released through Memory Palace earlier this summer, as well as many other sought-after pieces.
DMVU announced a co-headlining tour with Luzcid that began in June and will continue running through the end of summer. His Instagram post about the tour discusses how he has been writing new music and expresses his excitement about sharing it with fans. His remaining tour dates include stops in Philadelphia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Missouri. Additionally, he will be part of Of The Trees’ Park Service stop in Arizona, happening October 17th at Mesa Amphitheater.
