Tape B and Of The Trees join forces for highly anticipated collab ‘Brackish’

Of The Trees and Tape B officially team up for their first-ever collaborative release.

After more than a year of teasing this track on multiple setlists, two of bass music’s finest, Of The Trees and Tape B, have officially released their first-ever collaboration, “Brackish.”

“Brackish” has spent the past year as one of the scene’s most talked-about unreleased IDs. The track has become a standout moment in both artists’ live sets and fans are relieved that the track is finally available to stream.

Of The Trees’ dreamy, immersive and cinematic design blends beautifully with Tape B’s nostalgic dubstep. This track became a fan-favorite before it was officially released for a reason. Truly a match made in bass head heaven.

The collaboration also builds on the pair’s growing on-stage chemistry, following a breakout B2B appearance at Bonnaroo 2025 that quickly became one of the festival’s most talked-about bass music moments. The set further fueled fan demand for an official collaboration and highlighted the natural synergy between the two artists’ styles and live energy.

Although their sounds cover pretty entirely different corners of bass music, Of The Trees and Tape B share more common ground than you might realize. Of The Trees has built a devoted following through nature-inspired storytelling. Tape B has become one of dubstep’s fastest-rising stars by blending nostalgic, old-school influences with modern bass production. Both artists don’t just make intense bass-heavy tracks; they intentionally create world-building performances and carefully curated drops. “Brackish” is a standout collaboration between these two worlds.

The immersive track showcases the power of collaboration and how the bass community is tight-knit, expanding and genre-fluid.

Hi, I’m Lily! I’m an LA-based concert & festival diehard! My life was forever changed after my first festival, Coachella 2019, and then fully spiraled (in the best way) after my first EDC in 2023. I have attended over 140+ shows... I am the ultimate stage hopper and will always make it to the barricade. I love dubstep, house, trance, techno, bass, you name it. If I’m not at a show, I’m working as a social media manager & photographer, or probably listening to music, learning how to DJ, planning my next festival, or watching a Gordon Ramsay cooking show with my cat. I am so excited to be writing for Exron and sharing my love for music. If you're reading this, thanks for being here and reading my stuff!
