Aaron Hibell releases orchestral-driven debut album ‘SYNCHRONICITY’

UK electronic composer and producer Aaron Hibell is stepping into a new chapter with his first album, ‘SYNCHRONICITY.’

Out now via Astralwerks/Capitol, ‘SYNCHRONICITY’ marks Aaron Hibell’s album era debut and his most ambitious project to date. Across its tracklist, Hibell threads together towering orchestral arrangements with the pulse of trance and late-night techno. Simply put, his musical identity lands somewhere between film score and peak-time set.

The record models after Carl Jung’s theory of synchronicity, treating “meaningful coincidences” as emotional anchors for each piece. Importantly, its impact resonates equally as strongly on noise-cancelling headphones as it does on a festival mainstage.

While ‘SYNCHRONICITY’ is technically his first LP, it feels like something he has slowly orbited for years. The project channels a lifelong fascination with space. As a kid, Hibell stayed up late trying to wrap his head around an infinite universe. That deep, innate sense of wonder now runs unequivocally through his sound.

To promote ‘SYNCHRONICITY’, Hibell staged a Twitch set from inside an abandoned power plant, transforming it into his own sound cathedral. Of course, Aaron is no stranger to livestreams. In fact, his stream-of-consciousness Instagram live sessions have amassed him quite a following since the pandemic era. Furthermore, he began posting striking DJ clips from locations like an abandoned monastery, leading into his Monastery of Sound Vol. 1 project.

The album lands at a moment when Hibell’s profile has quietly gone global. Hibell scored both the official Ultra Miami 2024 aftermovie and the major box-office film Tetris. After selling out headline shows in LA and New York last year, he will soon embark on his debut North American tour. Furthermore, Aaron has landed an impressive collaboration with NASA and Vast to soundtrack a space mission in 2026.

Hibell has built a reputation as a modern storyteller, a producer more interested in goosebumps than gimmicks. Clever tracks like “Destroyer of Worlds” have already become fan-favorite moments in his sets, amplified by viral clips across socials. Additionally, his remix of John Summit‘s “Human” and his collaboration with Sara Landry on “Veni Vidi Vici” have evidenced his wide-reaching appeal. Certainly, ‘SYNCHRONICITY’ sharpens his signature blend of orchestral drama and club catharsis into something that feels both personal and expansive.

Undoubtedly, ‘SYNCHRONICITY’ underlines Hibell’s commitment to making electronic music that is as emotionally detailed as it is dancefloor-ready. For those who have followed Aaron’s musical journey since the beginning, this milestone feels like a personal victory. About The Author

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 12 consecutive years (still counting). As an avid traveler, I'm definitely not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My current bucket list festivals right now are Tomorrowland in Belgium, Cercle Festival in France, Kappa Futur in Italy, and Sonus in Croatia. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists are Franky Wah, BICEP, Cassian, and Mochakk.
