Tiësto announces first headline show in London in eight years

Tiësto returns to London for a once-in-a-decade performance.

Electronic music legend Tiësto is officially heading back to London. The Dutch superstar has announced a landmark open-air headline performance at Silverworks Island on Sunday, July 12th, marking his first major headline show in the UK’s capital in eight years.

Set against the backdrop of the Thames at the 37,000-capacity riverside venue, the event is expected to be one of the standout dance shows of the summer. Known for his massive festival performances and genre-spanning sets, Tiësto’s return to London signals a major moment for fans who have been waiting nearly a decade to see him headline the city again. Tickets for the show will first become available through an exclusive presale beginning Thursday, March 12th at 11 AM UK time, with general sales opening the following day.

The announcement arrives during a particularly active chapter of Tiësto’s career. The producer, born Tijs Michiel Verwest and widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in electronic dance music, has recently been leaning back into the trance sound that defined his early career. His latest single, “Beautiful Places,” released in February, followed the late-2025 track “Bring Me To Life,” both hinting at a renewed focus on melodic and progressive sounds. Those who have seen him DJ live in 2026 would also corroborate: Tiësto has been leaning into his signature early-career trance.

Earlier this year, Tiësto also closed the book on one of dance music’s longest-running radio shows. His iconic CLUBLIFE program wrapped after 978 episodes, concluding an 18-year run that helped shape global dance culture. Not long after, he launched a new radio concept called Prismatic, designed to spotlight the trance and progressive sounds that first made him a household name.

The London show also comes as part of a busy global schedule for this international superstar. Tiësto continues to perform at major festivals and residencies worldwide, including Las Vegas club dates and appearances at events like Beyond Wonderland and Creamfields later this year.

For an artist who has spent more than three decades at the forefront of electronic music and helped bring the genre from underground clubs to global stadiums, Tiësto’s return to London feels less like a comeback and more like a full-circle return.
