Matroda & San Pacho launch new duo project ‘AFTER MIDNIGHT’
Matroda and San Pacho’s new project comes in tandem with their first single, “Rich & Handsome.”
Croatian-born house music powerhouses Matroda and San Pacho have officially launched their joint venture, ‘AFTER MIDNIGHT.’ The duo kicked off the collaboration with their debut single, ‘Rich & Handsome,’ which is now available on all streaming platforms.
This release is the first taste of the project, which encapsulates the duo’s artistic synergy, offering a high-energy sound specifically engineered for late-night club sets and underground events. The project is expected to unfold throughout the year with live performances, including their debut at DoLab during Coachella Weekend 2 and Hard Summer later this year. These stages will serve as the perfect backdrop for their evolving sonic identity.
“Rich & Handsome” seamlessly merges both San Pacho and Matroda’s unique sounds. The track balances Matroda’s sophisticated technical mastery with the raw and party-forward energy that San Pacho is known for. The result of this infusion of artistry is a groove-driven house record that is driven by CREG’s standout vocals. The composition utilizes a heavy, rolling bassline and crisp percussion to maintain a relentless pace.
Matroda and San Pacho are often referred to as ‘the Croatian connection,’ as their bond has evolved within their home country’s vibrant dance community. Having known each other for almost 7 years, their deep-rooted friendship and natural creative synergy have finally culminated in this powerhouse joint venture, AFTER MIDNIGHT. This first track release seems to be just the beginning for the duo. Fans can expect an expansive release cycle with plenty of additional music already slated for the AFTER MIDNIGHT era. Their debut performance at Coachella will cement them as a must-watch act in the global electronic scene, marking a pivotal milestone in their professional journey.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists include Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Gorgon City, Prospa :)
