KSHMR launches new sample label on Splice

The Dharma Studio launch marks the next chapter in the producer’s decade-long partnership with the music creation platform.

Over the past decade, the collaboration between Splice and electronic music producer KSHMR has helped shape how modern producers access and use sound. Now their partnership is entering its next phase with the launch of Dharma Studio, a new label from the acclaimed artist and producer. The sounds are designed to integrate seamlessly across genres.

Niles Hollowell-Dhar originally made a name for himself in the music scene, beginning in hip-hop and pop with the 2010 hit song “Like A G6.” In 2013, he transitioned into dance music and launched his own artist project, KSHMR. In 2016, KSHMR became the first major artist to release an exclusive sample pack on Splice with Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 1.

The sample pack was widely successful, generating millions of downloads and sounds used in productions for artists including Meek Mill, Selena Gomez, and DJ Snake. Since that first release, KSHMR has continued to expand the series with multiple volumes, including Vol. 3, which became the most downloaded pack on Splice in 2025. Vol. 4 debuted at number one on the platform and continues to rank in the Top 10. With that success, it was only natural for the partnership to evolve into a full sample label collaboration.

“Dharma Studio is the natural evolution of everything I’ve been building over the years,” said KSHMR. “With Splice we’ll be able to scale Dharma Studio in a way that gives producers some truly incredible sounds from all over the world.”

As music production continues to evolve alongside new technology, artists and fans are increasingly seeking human-made sounds. That focus remains core to Splice’s platform, and Dharma Studio reinforces the company’s commitment to human artistry and authorship.

“There’s huge demand for KSHMR on Splice; his sounds are a key touchstone of our company’s future,” said Kenny Ochoa, SVP of Global Partnerships at Splice. “This label represents our huge trust and respect for KSHMR.”
