The Funk Hunters are bringing the funk in 2018

As we get closer to the release date of The Funk Hunters’ new album
“Typecast” coming in March, the duo dropped a track off of it on Friday to get everyone hype for the release of the album.  The new song, “Party Rockin” layers an old-
school funkadelic sound with a bouncy beat to keep the crowds dancing and vibes
energetic. The Funk Hunters are known for collaborating and remixing tracks for Big
Gigantic and Gramatik to add their own funky and hip sound.  The influence that artists like Big G, Gramatik and Griz have had on this duo is apparent through their style.  “Party Rockin” follows the first release from the new album, “Turn Down the Silence” (ft. DiRTY RADIO) which keeps a groovy feel but adds a vocal and a more fun-loving innocent beat. With two very unique singles out already in 2018, The Funk Hunters deliver promise to drop an unforgettable album.

The talent of the Funk Hunters, Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith, has landed them over 750 gigs in 16 different countries along with performances at huge festivals such as Coachella, Electric Forest, Burning Man, Lightning In a Bottle, and Shambhala. Nick takes lead on the studio and production while Duncan takes the lead in their live shows.  The dedication to creating show productions and music their fans love will do monumental things for The Funk Hunters in 2018 so be sure to keep an eye out for “Typecast”
coming out next month. Check out the Funk Hunters’ new tracks below!
