Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE Returned to EDC Las Vegas with Highly-Anticipated Duo Project

The superstar DJ duo, Big Gigantic, joins forces with the legendary NGHTMRE for an epic EDC performance.

Two of the hottest names in electronic music came together this weekend to make for a superset at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. Hailed as the premier festival in the United States, artists typically look to go above and beyond to make something unforgettable— and Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE did not disappoint. 

Joining forces under the name, GIGANTIC NGHTMRE, the set at Cosmic Meadow pulled in one of the most energetic crowds of the weekend. The set’s wild swings from intense bass tracks to funky electronic music were surprisingly well-balanced; never feeling like any track was out of left field or unintentionally dropped. 

Having performed under the electric sky a number of times before, NGHTMRE knew what it took to make the set one to remember. When collabing, it’s normal to see him on stage with his partner in crime, SLANDER, for their GUD VIBRATIONS sets. Seeing NGHTMRE joined by Big Gigantic for their EDC performance was truly a remarkable sight.  

While this was the artists first time joining at Electric Daisy Carnival, this wasn’t fans first chance at seeing the two converge.  Last November, GIGANTIC NGHTMRE came to fruition at the infamous Red Rocks Theater in Colorado. The wild set featured live performances of drums and saxophones from Big Gigantic while NGHTMRE controlled the decks.

The unique sound made by the merging of these two powerhouse performers is a standout in the space of electronic music. Fans can only hope that this can continue moving forward and even see more collaborations in the near future.
