Eli Brown has announced his return to New York City as the first techno artist to play at Rockefeller Center, selling out the venue in under three hours.
On Friday, August 30, from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM, New York City will experience a groundbreaking moment as Eli Brown takes the stage at Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan. As a sonic force in the techno scene, Brown returns to the Big Apple to become the first-ever techno artist to perform at this iconic venue. Following the electric announcement, he managed to sell out the historic show in just under three hours.
This year has been nothing short of incredible for Eli Brown, and the party has just started. He’s been making noise in the techno world with his unique blend of underground energy and mainstream appeal, proving himself to be a true force in the industry.
Recently, he created a buzz with a pop-up event at 99 Scott, which sold out almost immediately and crashed the Resident Advisor website. Later that night, he brought his talents to Avant Gardner, delivering another sold-out performance featuring intense 135bpm tracks and exceptional production. On top of DJ sets all over the world, Eli Brown has been lighting up major music festivals, including EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Miami, Beyond Wonderland, and more in 2024.
Hailing from the United Kingdom, Eli Brown has cemented himself as a techno powerhouse since emerging in the EDM scene in 2016. He has amassed a huge fanbase, gaining 3.4 million monthly Spotify listeners and earning support from legends such as Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, Reinier Zonneveld, and Adam Beyer. Original tracks such as “Be the One,” “Diamonds On My Mind,” and “Believe” have landed Brown as a top-streamed artist on Beatport and various other streaming platforms. In 2024, he has combined forces with techno heavyweights including Layton Giordani on “When I Push,” Lilly Palmer on “Gasoline,” and HI-LO on their two-song EP ‘Pyramid Rave / Feel The Energy.‘
Eli Brown is not merely a skilled producer, he is also a creative visionary. The techno titan founded his own record label, Arcane, in 2020, where he not only releases his own tracks but also signs emerging underground talent. In addition to his music, Brown launched his own streetwear brand, “92 Thing,” this past May. The line features rave-inspired, grail-worthy clothing items designed by him and his team.
As a techno pioneer and electric performer, Eli Brown’s Rockefeller Center debut will not be one to miss. Although currently sold out, you can join the waitlist on Dice for a chance at tickets. The upcoming show will mark a historic milestone for Eli Brown, but he is certain to break many more records and earn numerous accolades throughout his career.
