bitbird Unites Young Producers in ‘create together vol. 3’ Compilation
San Holo and Thorwald van den Akker’s bitbird Releases Third ‘create together’ Compilation Album
San Holo’s imprint bitbird has just unveiled their yearly community-compilation album ‘create together vol.3’. The compilation is typically a one-month challenge that is hosted and compiled via bitbird’s Discord server.
The purpose of the project is to unite young and aspiring artists from all over the world. In doing so, the project motivates them to create, collaborate, and push their skills and knowledge to the next level. Solidifying San Holo and bitbird’s impact on the music scene, this year’s curation has received support from Twitch, Ableton, FL Studio, Antares Auto-Tune, and iZotope.
On July 1, the third iteration of ‘create together’ was released and consisted of 25 new tracks, produced by 41 different artists from 13 different countries and 5 different continents.
To celebrate this year’s release, a premiere was hosted through their Discord server on June 30, which was available to all server members. In addition, later this month on July 23, the producers from the compilation will gather for a full-day online music festival on Twitch, which will include appearances from other artists from the label’s roster.

When asked about the project, bitbird’s creative director Thorwald van den Akker said “It’s incredible to see how every year the community pushes itself further and shows what it’s capable of. Even more than previous years we have seen collaborations pop up! This shows again how music even in such a polarising world is able to connect people! Music is love, and we love music. create together.”
Finally, the overall talent and production level in ‘create together’ is extraordinary. This project not only brings producers and artists together but it gives back to the community. Be sure to check out the album below and don’t miss the online festival on July 23.
