Who is Xandra Pohl?

Behind the decks or online, Xandra Pohl is setting the tempo for a new generation of Women DJs.

If you’ve been seeing the name Xandra Pohl pop up a lot lately, that’s because she’s quickly becoming one of the most talked-about young DJs in electronic music and social media culture. Born Alexandra Pohl in Cincinnati, Ohio, she discovered her passion for DJing as a high school student after seeing a performance that lit a fire in her. She taught herself how to mix using YouTube tutorials and spent countless hours at her decks before she even graduated from high school.

In early 2026, Xandra performed at the AT&T Playlist Live concert in Miami Beach, sharing the stage with big names like John Summit and Calvin Harris as part of the lead-in to the College Football Playoff celebration. At that event she not only mixed for the crowd but also enjoyed an especially meaningful moment as a University of Miami alum cheering on her team.

Modern Luxury

Her rise really took off at the University of Miami, where she studied marketing and music business while DJing fraternity parties and local clubs. She also started posting “get ready with me” and lifestyle videos on TikTok, which helped her build a massive following and brought her even more attention as a performer.

That online momentum translated into real world opportunities. She has played sets at major events like the F1 Miami Grand Prix, EDC Orlando, and Lollapalooza, and she DJed at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week, where she also made a surprise appearance on the runway.

Beyond live shows, she’s expanding into her own music. She’s released original tracks, including “Body Say,” and has recorded collaborations with established artists. She’s been signed to Palm Tree Records and continues to refine her sound.

About The Author

author

I've been writing, covering events, and doing interviews with Exron for nearly four years, but have been an EDM-lover for over a decade. The music community and industry has a special place in my heart and I love exploring the depths. EDC Las Vegas is my favorite festival and this year will be my sixth time attending. Some other recent festivals I've been are Ultra, Elements, Lost Lands, Electric Forest, and Arc. I've been getting more into experimental bass, but techno and house will always have my heart. <3
