Dillon Francis Rates Top 5 “DJ Friends of the Week” in Hilarious Video

Dillon Francis revealed who are his top 5 DJ friends and their biggest red flags

On February 16, Dillon Francis unveiled a new series via his Twitter account where he ranks his ‘Top 5 DJ Friends’. This week was full of surprises as he unveiled his top 5 buddies in the industry and why some were above and below others. The video has accumulated over 70 thousand views since it was posted.

He started off with his #5 pick, Diplo. Diplo was at the bottom of the list because he didn’t let Francis see his tortoise. Diplo also didn’t answer Dillon’s facetime call mid-DJ set while he was playing their song. It seems like Diplo has some work to do in order to work his way back up.

At #4 we have Sweden’s finest, Alesso. Francis says Alesso was late to their studio session due to a chiropractor appointment (which he didn’t believe), and he pulled into his driveway “way too fast” and almost hit a planter.

At #3, Kygo was the lucky winner. He’s smack in the middle due to being very good-looking, and because he wished Dillon “Happy Birthday” on a wrong day. Maybe next year he’ll get it right and move up the list.

As we make our way up the list, Dillon’s reasoning starts to get more positive. At #2, the one and only Tiesto stands strong. He’s in 2nd place because Dillon likes the way his name sounds coming out of his mouth and because he liked one of his Instagram posts from 2020. These are the best reasons so far.

And at #1, we have the industry bad boy himself, John Summit. Summit is at the top because he can go on drinking benders, and Dillon can vicariously live through him. He can also theoretically do Dillon’s taxes if he wanted him to because other DJs probably haven’t done their taxes and don’t know what Turbo Tax is. Lastly, Summit wears button-up shirts but fails to use the buttons themselves which makes him “avant-garde”.

Tune in next week as Dillon plans on revealing a brand new list, we’ll see which DJs stay and which ones go.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
