What is Deep Tropics Equinox?
Deep Tropics Festival is ushering in a new season with the announcement of “Deep Tropics Equinox” in 2026.
Widely regarded as one of the most exciting up-and-coming music festivals and a defining force in Nashville’s electronic music culture, Deep Tropics is expanding its vision beyond Labor Day Weekend with a more intimate, community-driven gathering rooted in renewal, balance, and creative rebirth. Deep Tropics Equinox’s inaugural spring event is set for March 20th through March 21st, 2026, at Bicentennial Park Amphitheater in Nashville, TN.

Deep Tropics Equinox will feature performances from some of dance music’s most widely regarded acts like Of The Trees, Claude VonStroke, Barclay Crenshaw, Ivy Lab (DNB set), It’s Murph, Tinzo + Jojo, RaeCola, and more. Late-night programming elevates the experience even further, with Friday headlined by G Jones b2b EPROM, and Saturday closing with a rare four-hour set from iconic house innovator Green Velvet.

Timed to the spring equinox, the festival is conceived as a ritual moment when the length of the day matches the length of the night, representing a return to balance. It offers artists and fans a shared space to welcome a new season while planting creative and cultural seeds for the year ahead. Deep Tropics is also deeply committed to environmental leadership. Even with a smaller footprint, Deep Tropics Equinox operates within the same zero-waste, climate-positive framework that defined the festival’s 2025 edition, achieving an 88% waste-diversion rate and keeping nearly 12,000 pounds of material out of landfills.
Produced by Full Circle Presents, Deep Tropics Equinox blends intentional curation, immersive stage design, and regenerative practices into a unified experience. With its downtown Nashville skyline backdrop, nature-rooted symbolism, and commitment to the transformation of self, community, and planet, Deep Tropics Equinox marks a meaningful new chapter in the Deep Tropics story.
