A look inside Diplo’s relationship with his baby mamas and kids

Diplo is widely recognized not only as an iconic dance music producer but also as a father to three kids.

Diplo has three kids, two with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart and one with model Jevon King. Lockhart and Diplo welcomed their sons Lockett and Lazer into the world in 2010 and 2014 respectively. In March 2020, he and King announced the birth of their son Pace. 

The DJ occasionally shares pictures of him and his kids, especially on important dates like birthdays. From snowmobiling in the mountains to a recent Wrestlemania trip, he has no shortage of exciting adventures to take them on. Diplo has conveyed his love for fatherhood over the years, sharing that despite being a difficult job, it is the most rewarding. 

Shortly after Pace was born, Diplo posted a heartfelt tribute to his mom, Lockhart, and King, calling them “the three strongest mothers in the world.” He expresses gratitude for his sons and their moms often and has opened up about the impact they have had on his life. 

Lockhart and Diplo began their relationship in 2009 but split up in 2014 before Lazer was born.  Jevon King was awarded Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago in 2014 and revealed that she and Diplo were expecting in 2020. Since then, she has posted videos and pictures of Diplo and his youngest son, most recently on his fourth birthday.

Apart from being a father, Diplo is one of the biggest DJs in the world. The Grammy-winning producer’s repertoire is impressive having made music have almost 30 years. He is also in several groups including Major Lazer, LSD, Jack Ü, and Silk City. 

While he and his baby mamas tend to keep their lives private, it is clear that Diplo still loves them. He has also promised his children that he will never stop caring for them.
