A look inside Diplo’s relationship with his baby mamas and kids

Diplo is known worldwide as one of electronic music’s most recognizable producers, but outside of music, he is also a devoted father to three sons.

Diplo shares two sons, Lockett and Lazer, with his former partner Kathryn Lockhart. The pair welcomed their children in 2010 and 2014. In 2020, model and former Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago contestant Jevon King announced the birth of her son Pace, whom Diplo later publicly confirmed as his third child.

While Diplo tends to keep much of his family life private, he occasionally shares moments with his sons on social media, including birthdays, vacations, and major milestones. In recent years, he has posted clips from family trips and even DJed his youngest son Pace’s kindergarten graduation in 2026, which he jokingly called “one of the most important sets” of his career.

Shortly after Pace was born, Diplo shared a Mother’s Day tribute dedicated to his own mother, Kathryn Lockhart, and Jevon King, calling them “the three strongest mothers in the world.” Over the years, he has repeatedly spoken about how fatherhood changed his perspective and remains one of the most important parts of his life.

Diplo and Kathryn Lockhart were together for several years before eventually separating. Meanwhile, Jevon King, who represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Miss Universe pageant in 2014, publicly revealed her pregnancy in 2019 before welcoming Pace in March 2020. Since then, both Diplo and King have occasionally shared glimpses of Pace on social media as he has grown up.

Beyond fatherhood, Diplo remains one of the most successful electronic music artists in the world. The Grammy-winning producer has spent nearly three decades shaping modern dance music and is known for projects including Major Lazer, LSD, Jack Ü, and Silk City.

Although Diplo and the mothers of his children largely keep their personal lives out of the spotlight, the producer has consistently expressed how important his sons are to him. Over the years, fans have occasionally gotten a glimpse into his life as a father through social media posts, family photos, and milestone celebrations shared online.
