Chris Lorenzo and AC Slater throw a huge sold-out event in LA at The Shrine Auditorium

Chris Lorenzo and AC Slater showcase their ‘Fly With Us’ show in Los Angeles with heavy bass and massive success at the Shrine Auditorium.

Two well-known electronic music dance artists joined on November 25th to bring a once-in-a-lifetime experience to Los Angeles. The two artists titled the show ‘Fly With Us‘ to commemorate their latest release together. ‘Fly With Us’ is a huge hit for both artists which was released back in 2021. The song brings together the common night bass sounds we hear from NightBass founder, AC Slater, with Chris Lorenzo’s unique synths. The track was quick to become a favorite for fans of both artists.

Chris Lorenzo and AC Slater first performed as a duo at Electronic Daisy Carnival, EDC, in 2022. The two were the closing set for the festival’s main stage, Kinetic Field. Even at 4 am, the two packed the stage with Night Bass and Chris Lorenzo fans who brought the energy like it was only 10 pm. So, what did they decide would be a great idea? Bring the show to their home-base Los Angeles!

On November 25th, fans made their way to the popular Los Angeles venue, The Shrine. Fans headed here to catch the duo performing together again. The night began with San Francisco house artist, Chocolate Sushi. He started the party for everyone by playing hits like ‘Provocas’ by Hitta. Lucati was next to take the decks. Lucati started his set off playing a more housey vibe. He played his remix of Frank Ocean getting the crowd moving and grooving. But, the second half took us on a techno journey.

Following a fantastic hour set for Lucati, it was time for the main event! The legends themselves, AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo took over the decks. They started off their set with a mash of different vocals and intros. They tied everything together into what sounded like a mash-up created with Lorenzo for AC Slater’s hit track ‘Raise Up’. Following the huge intro, the duo continued to go back to back showcasing their huge tracks. AC Slater played ‘Giant Mouse’ which mixed into ‘Something’s about to go down’, followed by more NightBass tracks.

The duo continued to keep to crowd bouncing. They played Chris Lorenzo’s latest hit, ‘Mami’, causing the whole crowd to cheer and sing- along when it was dropped. Other tracks with huge reactions from fans included Chris Lake’s remix of Ray Volpe’s ‘Laserbeam’, ‘Chromatic‘ by Anti Up, and AC Slater’s VIP edit of ‘Stand Up’. The duo closed out their set with the popular hit song ‘Good Life ‘by Innercity which had the crowd singing along. Soon, they slowly faded the track out and began thanking the crowd for attending and “Flying with Them” tonight. Shortly after, the chants picked up for one more song. Following, the duo did just that but gave the crowd two more tracks!

AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo came back to play two tracks. They played ‘Fly Kicks’ by Wax Motif mixed into their hit the show was named after, ‘Fly With Us’. The crowd went wild one last time showing their love for the artists. The event was a success for the artist, being a sold-out show at a big venue like ‘The Shrine’. The production and lights tied perfectly with the heavy bass of the artist making for an unforgettable night. So, congrats to AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo on a massive event! Following the event, AC Slater announced on Instagram more Fly With Us shows coming in 2023. So, be on the lookout for those announcements coming soon!
