What So Not “Gets Single Approval” from Oliver Tree after Hilarious Saga on Social Media

After a series of online “rant” about Oliver Tree, What So Not shares his highly anticipated new single and announces his sophomore album.

The cat is out of the bag. After previously cooking up a frenzy social media “rant” about Oliver Tree, What So Not finally drops his collaborative single, “Mr Regular” to much fanfare. Also featuring the rap legend, Killer Mike on this earworm, the latest release comes along the announcement of What So Not’s forthcoming sophomore album, ‘Anomaly’ set to land on September 16.

“Mr Regular” is a slinky, sharply-honed production that displays the trio’s talent and synergistic collaboration. Swelling with snappy beats and smashing melodies, the song narrates a self discovery journey within the musical realm where the artists flesh out their own growing years. What So Not shares that the tune “is about the difficulty that we face through our childhood and career progression as clueless superior figures try to control and shape our path”

To top it off, the highly acclaimed DJ producer has also revealed new dates for his upcoming full length, sophomore album, ‘Anomaly’. Featuring a string of wholesome collaborators including Louis The Child, Mo, HERIZEN and more, What So Not is poised to drive an impressive year ahead with his most polished cut yet, demonstrating the depth of his mighty repertoire.

Greatly inspired by the self-rumination and isolation period during the pandemic, What So Not mirrors most of his reflection and thoughts into the new record. With hopes of raising awareness on the environment to collectively bring different communities and cultures together, ‘Anomaly’ is dedicated to the inward discovery of one’s own true self.

Now that “Mr Regular” has landed, listen to this compelling, upbeat tune as we patiently wait for ‘Anomaly’ to drop this fall:
