FUNTCASE LAUNCHES DPMO LABEL WITH “CORRUPTION” EP – [LISTEN]

In 2017, FuntCase unveiled the DPMO brand (short for “Don’t Piss Me Off) as an extension of the Circus Records imprint. Its existence served to shed light on the overlooked, raw talent brewing in dubstep’s tumultuous underground scene. Three years and three compilations later, the label prepares to unleash its first EP, FuntCase’s “Corruption” EP.

The four-track release is comprised entirely of collaborations between FuntCase and other DPMO powerhouses. Check out the full tracklist below.

Tracklist:

  1. FuntCase x Versa – Kill Confirmed
  2. FuntCase x Yakz – Bodying feat. Rival
  3. FuntCase x Jkyl & Hyde – Transmission
  4. FuntCase x Stoned LeveL – Wolfpack

As a new and more specialized label, DPMO gives a much-needed platform to artists who are making waves but have yet to breakout. In the past FuntCase has recruited visionary artists early on, like Phiso and Kompany, who currently dominate the bass music scene.

Friday, December 4th, FuntCase and the DPMO family are throwing a virtual label launch party with Insomniac’s Bassrush. Starting at 8PM PST, fans can enjoy sets from FuntCase, Jkyl & Hyde, Sweettooth and Yakz. Watch the livestream here: tv.insomniac.com.

This year has been marked by the emergence of artist-curated labels, young talent, and innovation. We don’t know what DPMO has in store for us next, but we’re excited to find out! Take a listen to the “Corruption” EP below!
