SOFASOUND BRINGS LO-FI HIT “YOU CAN FEEL IT TO BITBIRD” – [LISTEN]

South Florida-based producer Sofasound has released a string of chill, soulful tunes on bitbird within the past few months. “You Can Feel It” comes ahead of his long-awaited album, Waiting All My Life, which is set for release in December. 

“You Can Feel It” features delicate touches of slow house within Sofasound’s signature lo-fi style. Engrained with emotions such as joy and appreciation for his recent career developments, the artist rightfully refers to this track as a ‘dreamy lullaby.’ He wrote the track with his acoustic guitar, with hopes to ignite a feeling of gratitude within the minds of his listeners. Ultimately, the tune was written to motivate people to dream the impossible, awake or asleep.

“‘You Can Feel It’ is meant to lift people up, it’s meant to give people that boost even when they’re down,” says the 24-year-old producer. “To me it represents my awareness of the beautiful time period I’m in with my music career and how grateful I am to be there.”

Sofasound strives to produce beats that transport his audiences to a different time and place. He does so by creating sounds that are centered around whatever feeling he’s trying to evoke. The artist was born into a family of musicians, allowing him to develop a deep passion for music at a young age. Now, he’s joined San Holo’s bitbird label, doing a great deal of work with ‘Chillhop Music.’
