Check out what the artists had to say about being part of the Rebirth compilation below!

DETRACE – “Get Out ft. NJ”

“I’m really proud to be a part of DSV Audio’s “Rebirth” compilation and their efforts to spotlight mental health issues in the industry. I had the best time creating my track “Get Out” and NJ’s rap vocals take the track to the next level! The soundscape has a no holds barred approach to dubstep/bass and I’m excited for everyone to hear it!” -Detrace

BAINBRIDGE – “Skull Busta”

“I write music as an escape. As someone who’s lost friends and family due to mental health issues, the Rebirth project is especially important to me. This is a cause I truly believe in.” -BAINBRIDGE

High Zombie & SHARPS – “Contention”

“I wrote Contention after I had an argument with my girlfriend. We never argue so I happened to be upset and angry. The “Rebirth” album is special to me. From someone whose entire brand is built off of “mental illness” and struggled with depression and anxiety their entire life – this compilation is an incredible piece of work with an absolutely incredible purpose.” -High Zombie

“I had such a great time collaborating with High Zombie on our new banger ‘Contention’. DSV Audio serves as the perfect home for this heavy-hitter and the entire “Rebirth” compilation features a lot of other great bass-heavy tracks for a really great cause!” -SHARPS

MATT DOE & Jiqui – “Doequi”

“Doequi was one of the most fun tunes I’ve ever worked on. The sound design was one of the most complicated things to accomplish. I think we are both very grateful to have made this track; our styles blended straight down the middle.” -MATT DOE

“Doequi is probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever worked on, and also one of the most frustrating because the mixdown was the most technical and intricate I think either of us has done. It’s truly a combination of both of our sounds and I know we are both super proud of how it came out.” -Jiqui

SpaceYeti – “Burning Chrome”

“Burning Chrome means a lot to me, as I really stepped outside of my comfort zone when making it and it led me in a new direction I want to take with my music. Thanks to the “Rebirth” project I’ve been given an opportunity to showcase it for a great cause!” -SpaceYeti

Yoxide – “Program Terminated”

“Whenever I write music, I try to tell a story. For “Program Terminated” I went with a futuristic, sci-fi vibe which helped me develop a strong theme for the track. This album is not only a great opportunity for me to showcase my music, but also to highlight what we can achieve as a community by helping others in need.” -Yoxide

Nyptane – “Reckless”

“My track “Reckless” had a unique creation process. I usually work out of my home studio, but I felt I needed to switch things up. I took my laptop into my living room, opened up all the windows, and started writing. I learned that sometimes you need to change the actual space you’re in to get in the right headspace for a tune. As a person who deals with mental illness, supporting a charity and raising awareness for that cause means a lot to me as well.” – Nyptane

PR1ME – “Fakes”

“”Fakes” allowed me to explore writing dubstep infused with trap and psytrance elements, all while sticking to my style of sound design. I’ve been sitting on this track for almost a year now and I’m very excited to finally release it! I’m grateful to be a part of the “Rebirth” project, as it not only shows off my music to a new audience but also helps those in need of mental health support too.” – PR1ME

Misfit – “Armageddon”

“Armageddon tells the story of an apocalypse way before our time. And yet we prevail. The ‘Rebirth’ project means a lot to me personally, as I have my own struggles with mental health issues. It feels good to know I have a way for my music to help others.” -Misfit

Case Closed & PERSES – “Wounded ft. NJ”

“Working with PERSES on “Wounded” has been an unforgettable and satisfying process. Writing the song was a last-minute mad-dash with an excitingly small margin of error. The excitement really became multi-layered as the cause we were working to support became more and more real, and the charitable efforts from DSV made the tough parts feel worthwhile. “Rebirth” definitely has some magic to it.” -Case Closed

“I’m so excited for everyone to hear “Wounded” – it has a really hectic sound to it and it was a pleasure working with Case Closed! Being a part of the “Rebirth” project means a ton to me because mental health runs very deep in my family and in myself especially, so when the opportunity to spotlight that came up I had to jump at it!” -PERSES

DirtySnatcha – “Take You Higher”

“I’m thrilled to have my track “Take You Higher” be a part of DSV Audio’s Rebirth compilation. I’ve worked with the label for the past few years and I’m so happy to be a part of this compilation with a ton of other talented artists! For my contribution, I wanted to create a track that had a smooth vocal offering with an impactful bassline full of distorted sounds.” -DirtySnatcha

Spacesuit – “Stimulants”

“As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety my entire life, the ‘Rebirth’ project has a special place in my heart. “Stimulants” came together relatively quickly. It was very easy to generate ideas with the song being so genre-diverse. There might be a lesson in there somewhere if you unpack it…” -Spacesuit
