GRAMMY NOMINEE MEDUZA BRINGS ELECTRIFYING SET TO QUANTUM NYC

If you listen to electronic music chances are you’ve heard Meduza’s ‘Piece of Your Heart’ with the Goodboys. The song was already on its way to becoming one of the most recognized dance tracks of the year with nearly 399 million streams on Spotify, so the Grammy nomination for ‘Best Dance Recording’ came as no surprise. The Meduza trio is primed to take over the dance music world in just a short period of time.

Mattia, the DJ in the trio, performed at Quantum in New York, before heading overseas to Indonesia for the Djakarta Warehouse Project. He intrigued the room the entire night, playing a set that transitioned from progressive melodic house to techno with dark moody bass. The lighting was minimalistic and allowed the people to immerse themselves in the moment and the music.

One of the most notable tracks of the evening was ‘Lose Control’. The vocals are lush, lyrics are catchy, and the instrumentals is damn near hypnotic the way it draws you in with echoey synths and deep resonating bass.  Each of the tracks played at Quantum were executed smoothly and captivated the audience from start to finish. The Italian trio has astounding potential to sky rocket to success in the electronic music realm. Meduza is expected to continue this momentum well into 2020.
