Ultra Releases Stacked Phase 1 Lineup for 20th Anniversary
Every March thousands of people migrate to Miami for one of the best week’s of the year: Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival. This year Ultra hits a milestone with their 20th year anniversary. Ultra has earned quite a name for itself all over the world so we know the anniversary is sure to be exceptional and full of surprises. The festival is held annually in Bayfront Park in Miami, a venue that provides views of the Miami skyline as well as beautiful ocean views. Among the headlining artists this year are Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Hardwell, Kaskade, Marshmello, RL Grime, Virtual Self and many more!
Some of the reasons why Ultra is one of our favorite festivals is the emphasis they put on the artists and the music. Being one of the first festivals of each year’s festival season Ultra Miami sets a precedent for every festival to follow each year. With mind blowing stage production as well as surprise artists and b2b sets Ultra sets out to surprise their attendees every year. This year on the line up poster reads, “expect the unexpected”, so we know they’ve got some special additions prepared.
Since 1999, Ultra Music Festival has grown to include international festivals in countries such as Korea, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Croatia, and more. They’ve earned global recognition including being voted “World’s Best Festival” by DJ Mag in 2016 and “Best Music Event” multiple years by International Dance Music Awards. They’ve made ground breaking moves such as Swedish House Mafia’s final perfomances, surprise appearance by Justin Bieber and Diplo with Skrillex as Jack U in 2015, and special stages among the years such as Resistance, Carl Cox & Friends, A State of Trance, and OWSLA stage. For the past two years general admission for the event has sold out by February. You will not want to miss this anniversary of one of the world’s most famous festivals!!
