GS5 & Clark Key Release New House Single Down Low on Nite Records – [LISTEN]

NEWCOMERS DROP THE HEAT

During the resurgence of 2021, GS5, also known as the one and only Guillermo, has been posted up in the snow-topped mountains of Colorado, developing a deep warehouse sound. His most recent collaboration with Clark Key, titled “Down Low” dropped via Nite Records, is any house lover’s respite. Nite Records, an LA-based label, features talent such as Galo, DEM2, CFC, Lowsh, and company.

Although GS5 is new to the scene, he has gained support from the likes of AC Slater, Tomix, Valy Mo, Niles Sheppard, John Summit, & more, as his record has made its way to their turn tables during live shows. Although GS5 has been focusing mainly on music production, he’s looking forward to all the 2021 will bring in terms of live shows, perhaps sick wooky ones in the ‘rado wilderness.

GS5’s collaborator, Clark Key, is an emerging music producer based out of none other than sunny South Florida, a mecca for all things house. Recently, after a successful collaboration with Hood Politics’ Nutty, Clark was featured on Hood Politics’ “The Compilation Summer Nites, Vol 7,” which was recently released earlier this month. This feature was a major move for the promising newbie, and, according to Key, the accomplishment of a personal goal.

According to Clark, “Music is the most important thing to me. Letting go, dancing and having a good time. Many of my relationships and memories are centered around music and now I have a chance to make my own and be that pillar as many others were for me.” Clearly, the boys aren’t just DJ up-and-comers with vibey EDM tracks, but wholesome and genuine to boot.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
