GRIZ AND GANJA WHITE NIGHT RELEASE FUNKY NEW SINGLE ‘EASE YOUR MIND’ – [LISTEN]

THE ICONIC FIGURES GRIZ AND GANJA WHITE NIGHT RELEASED THEIR LONG-WAITED FOR COLLABORATION, “EASE YOUR MIND,’ TODAY, ALONG WITH AN ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO.

It was always a matter of when, not if, the collaboration between GRiZ and Ganja White Night would see the light of day. On March 8, 2021, the established, iconic music figures in the bass industry made our dreams come true by revealing on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram that their song would be released on March 12.

“Ease Your Mind” exemplifies why these two are so established in the electronic music community. The song starts off with Ganja White Night’s distinctive hypnotic sound and then dives right into GRiZ’s jazzy beat. Its innovative sound is complemented by layers of energetic saxophone, groovy synth sounds, tuneful guitar loops, and bass-fueled drops meshed into a seamless final product. As described by GRiZ, this collab is truly funky and uplifting.

The multi-instrumental artist, producer, philanthropist, and LGBTQ advocate, Grant Kwiecinski, known as GRiZ, is one of the most influential artists in dance music right now. In the past few years, he’s changed the electronic music industry with his latest albums, ‘Chasing The Golden Hour’ and ‘Bangers’ series, along with many of his infamous latest singles, such as, ‘Vibe Check,’ ‘No Doubt,’ and ‘Could You’ by infusing his prevalent jazzy sound with trippy dubstep and bass Edm.

After taking off in 2011, GRiZ quickly became a mainstage headliner at music festivals and a collaborator with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Bootsy Collins and DRAM. Along with this, he’s also a philanthropist and a champion for LGBTQ+ rights. This year marked the seven-year anniversary of his charitable event series 12 Days Of GRiZMAS – which to date has raised over $100,000 towards Detroit public school students.

The Belgian electronic duo,  Benjamin “Bamby” Bayeul and Charlie “Erwan” Dodson, known as Ganja White Night formed in 2010 and quickly set the tone for the bass community with their hypnotic and immersive sound. The “Wobble Master” producers’ latest album, ‘The One,’ released in 2019, show off their core strengths-combining bass, wonky cadences, and crunchy distorted bass lines which come out in full force. In 2020, the powerhouse duo released “Dead of Night,” an epic collab with Zeds Dead and a remix of “Dear Weed Man” by Boogie T. Rio.

Ganja White Night’s unique live performances and jaw-dropping show visuals tell a story. Because of their all-original musical performances, no concert is ever truly the same, keeping fans chasing songs from their eight album long discography from show to show. Only time will tell how big this universe will become.

Now our dream is for GRiZ and Ganja White Night to create more collaborations togther.
