Countdown NYE will return to NOS Event Center for two-day festival in 2026

Countdown NYE returns to ring in 2027 for two nights in SoCal—double the chaos, double the bass, and extremely limited bedtime.

The aliens got their travel plans in order already, and yes—they’ve booked for a two-night stay. Countdown NYE officially returns to the NOS Event Center for its 2026 edition, expanding back into a two-day celebration set to take place December 31, 2026 through January 1, 2027.

After taking place at the LA Convention Center last year, the entire festival travels back to its home base in San Bernardino, much to the delight of fans who’ve grown attached to its iconic chaos-meets-cosmos energy. This year’s expansion marks the first time since 2023 that ravers will have two nights to ring in the new year. One night of partying simply isn’t enough for a bender like this.

The event continues to lean into its alien theme, bringing an immersive experience with five stages, elaborate production, and a lineup expected to feature over 75 artists. While names have yet to be revealed, past installments brought Alesso, Zedd, Diplo, and many more.

Just like any other Insomniac-run festival, Countdown doubles down on its carnival-like atmosphere, such as rides, themed areas, and interactive experiences. They now feature official afterparties scheduled from 2AM to 6AM, answering the question to “Afters?”.

Tickets are set to go on sale April 30, with pre-sale access opening through advance registration. Payment plans, including a surprisingly low deposit option, make it easier for fans to commit early, especially if fans are super conscious on locking in New Year’s plans eight months ahead without breaking the bank.

With anticipation building, Countdown NYE hasn’t just returned to its original base, it has leveled up. Overtime the festival’s reputation has expanded with ravers flying all over to do something fun for NYE. This is one of many gigs to celebrate the new year, but for Countdown, it gives friendly extraterrestrial energy.
