Kyliente announces debut NYC show for the 10th edition of Empyria

Rising artist (and Exron co-founder) Kyliente has announced her upcoming Empyria 10 event, featuring an incredible all-female lineup.

Following her successful debut NYC show on August 24, Kyliente (a.k.a Kylie Parham) is making a momentous return to the Big Apple. Kyliente will be throwing Empyria 10 at Keybar Brooklyn on December 7 to commemorate the tenth iteration of her mix series Empyria. Even better still, she has revealed that the event will uniquely feature an all-female lineup.

Kyliente has aptly dubbed the event after her monthly mix series Empyria, which she launched in April 2024. Kyliente named Empyria after a Latin word, which translates to the highest heavenly sphere, usually consisting of fire or light.  And what better way to memorialize her 10th mix than by illuminating female talent with this Brooklyn show?

The tech house and mainstage techno artist has lived many lives prior to her foray into DJing. Having written for multiple publications like The Sun, The Nocturnal Times, Raver Magazine, and Noiseprn, she is no stranger to the music scene. Another testament to her love for house music, she successfully cofounded Exron Music with best friend and colleague Charlotte Vosbeck. The decision to include an all-female lineup was, of course, no accident. One of the largest media organizations in the space, Exron Music is the only one employing over 90% women.

Formerly New York-based, Kyliente launched her career after graduating from Point Blank Music School for music production.  Point Blank boasts a range of now famous graduates, such as Nicole Moudaber, Claude VonStroke, and Patrick Topping. Since then, she has quickly begun carving a fiery path in the industry.

Also referred to as “technymph,” Kyliente’s set will undoubtedly feature dozens of hard-hitting and groovy beats. Apart from Kyliente herself, the night’s acts will also include a range of decorated NY-based female artists. This includes techno DJ/producer Crossbow, DJ/founder of the “You Are Important” project Branqueeno, and DJ/founder of Disco Chalet Laura Lynn. These ladies have opened for a range of major artists like VNSSA, Nala, Bart Skills, and Eli Brown.

With Groove Cruise and Ultra Europe already under her belt, the possibility for Kyliente are endless. Kyliente has already announced her return to Groove Cruise 2025, clearly another can’t-miss set in the making. To secure a ticket for Empyria 10, head over to the event’s Resident Advisor page.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
