All Good Music Festival to return in 2025 after near 10-year hiatus

After Disappearing for 10 years, All Good Music Festival has returned with a fresh vision at Merriweather Pavilion in Summer 2025.

The All Good Music Festival has returned after a 10-year hiatus, with organizers announcing a revamped version, “All Good Now,” set for June 14-15, 2025, at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. The festival, once a staple of the jam band scene, has re-emerged with an updated approach while keeping its iconic roots.

As it’s been that long for the festival to return, organizers already planned the lineup in this anticipation, set to be revealed this Friday. The lineup is expected to blend the “legacy acts” that defined All Good with artists previously on the lineup such as Primus, Moe., Greensky Bluegrass, STS9, and many more appealing to long-time attendees and newcomers alike. By bridging these two generations, All Good Now has promised to capture the timeless energy that defined its past events.

Founded in 1997 at Wilmer’s Park in Brandywine, Maryland, the All Good Music Festival has become one of the early pioneers of the modern festival and jam band scenes. Through its original 18-year run, the festival has traveled across four states, cementing its reputation for fostering a tight-knit community atmosphere. Tim Walther, the festival’s founder, has sought to revive this spirit in All Good Now.

The reimagined All Good has shifted from its former open-field format to the Merriweather amphitheater, now offering a dual-stage setup with enhanced comfort. Fans can expect covered pavilions, updated amenities, and an immersive music experience unique to the venue.

In his announcement, Walther has invited the All Good “family” to reconnect, honoring both the past and the present. “Our lifestyles may have changed, but the spirit of music and community remains the same,” Walther stated, urging fans to “revel in the past and celebrate in the present.”

As the return of All Good Now approaches, excitement has already built for the next chapter of this storied festival. Lineup and ticket details are set to be released on Friday, November 15, sparking anticipation for what is bound to be a memorable event this summer.
