Festication & TOOL announce first-ever ‘TOOL LIVE IN THE SAND’ Festival in Dominican Republic

FESTICATION & TOOL HAVE DEBUTED THEIR INAUGURAL ‘TOOL LIVE IN THE SAND’ DESTINATION FESTIVAL IN PUNTA CANA IN MARCH 2025.

Festication and TOOL recently announced the first-ever Tool Live in the Sand festival in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from March 7 to 9 2025. Festication is known for creating unique international experiences that are sought after by music lovers. The on-location festivities will combine vacation vibes and a festival experience at an all-inclusive and luxurious five-star resort.

Normally associated with electronic music festivals, Festication will dip into the rock scene with Live in the Sand, as part of a direct partnership with Disco Presents and Feyline. TOOL is a Los Angeles-based rock band that formed in 1990. The group is made up of vocalist Maynard James Keenan, guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey, and bassist Justin Chancellor. The live event is one of many upcoming Caribbean-based festivals that will connect diehard fans from all over.

Attendees will stay at Punta Cana’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino or The Royalton Resort for the three-day vacation experience. Guests can indulge in gourmet dining, expansive pools, and world-class entertainment while headbanging to the finest tunes headlined by TOOL. This first-of-its-kind event will feature two TOOL sets and additional performances by some of the most popular rock bands in the world.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to share the news that Primus, Mastodon, and Coheed and Cambria will be joining us for our first-ever Caribbean performance at ‘Tool in the Sand,'” said member Justin Chancellor. Eagles of Death Metal, King’s X, Fishbone, Wheel, CKY, and Moonwalker are also expected to perform. Longtime TOOL visual collaborators Alex Grey and Allyson Grey will join the festivities as special guests after revealing their new theme “Hallucinarium” at Amnesia Ibiza in September.

Ticket packages for Tool Live in the Sand festival go on sale Wednesday, October 30 at 10 am PST. Depending on how many people are in the group, prices range from around $2,000 to a little over $5,000.

Besides three days of music and fun, packages include a luxury resort room and unlimited food and drinks for each guest. Off-site excursions will be available, including snorkeling, catamaran expeditions, rappelling, and visits to eco-parks to maximize vacation time.
