Indonesia’s biggest Halloween music festival prepares for massive return next weekend

Scream or dance music festival returns to Jakarta, Indonesia with an electrifying lineup filled with ellie headliners like Yellow Claw and Jonas Blue.

The internationally recognized festival Scream or Dance has made its anticipated return to Jakarta, Indonesia. Music fans and dance lovers alike will descend upon the Carnaval Ancol venue for two days of Halloween fun next weekend. The event’s first night will occur on November 1 and continue through November 2. Presented by Shafari Live, Scream or Dance 2024 is Jakarta’s most elite festival and even more exceptional this go-around.

With a theme like “The Undiscovered Universe,” this year’s concert series is set to be bigger than ever with a line-up of top-tier entertainers and next-level branding. The 2024 production will debut a new partnership with HALOS Entertainment.

Guests will travel “across the universe,” or at least across time zones, to listen to some of their favorite artists while dressed in their most ghoulish and glam outfits. On November 1, Scream or Dance event attendees can expect a headlining performance from English DJ and songwriter Jonas Blue, known for hits like “Perfect Strangers” featuring JP Cooper and “Ritual” with Rita Ora.

The star-studded main stage performances will continue with Dutch DJ and 2010 trap music legend Yellow Claw on the second day and Indonesian record production group Weird Genius. But the talent doesn’t stop there. AVAO, KAAZE, KARTY, Mahalini, MOJI, Ms Puiyi, and Winky Wiryawan are some supporting sets that audience members can move to.

Founded in 2016, Scream or Dance has been a yearly staple for avid festival fans. The music event brings together people globally and combines the best electronic dance music from multiple genres.
