Tyler, The Creator, reveals his next album ‘CHROMAKOPIA’ will drop by the end of the month

Tyler, The Creator raps about paranoia on the latest single off of ‘Chromakopia

It’s been over a year since Tyler, the Creator released the deluxe edition of his last album, and fans have been eagerly anticipating new music. Call Me If You Get Lost set a high bar, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 in June 2021 and winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album. Now, fans are wondering what’s next, and Tyler has finally provided an answer. On October 16, he released a video teasing new music titled “ST. CHROMA.” In the clip, he walks through a desert while wearing a face mask, and it ends with the word ‘CHROMAKOPIA’ on a green backdrop. This sparked a wave of fan theories about its meaning, with many drawing connections to various references.

User Bobby Foster shared a theory on October 16, suggesting, “He is expressing a desire to break free. Combined with the lines at the end of the snippet, ‘Can you feel the light inside? Can you feel the fire?’ it suggests he’s on a journey toward inner freedom.” Daniel Caesar added to the excitement by confirming that he provided vocals for the song, while ScHoolboy Q showed his support online.

Although details about the project are still sparse, all tracks are “written, produced, and arranged by Tyler Okonma,” and fans can pre-order the album and related merchandise on the official website.

The biggest surprise came when Tyler confirmed that ‘CHROMAKOPIA’ is the title of his seventh studio album and that he’s challenging music industry norms by releasing it on Monday, October 28, instead of the usual Friday. With Camp Flog Gnaw on the horizon, fans are hopeful they’ll be among the first to hear the album live.

Be sure to keep up with Tyler to stay up-to-date on the latest news regarding ‘CHROMAKOPIA’.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
