Kaskade and wife Naomi Raddon file for divorce after 28 years of marriage
Kaskade’s nearly 28-year marriage ends as Naomi Raddon files for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
Naomi Raddon has filed for divorce from her husband, Ryan Gary Raddon, better known as the artist Kaskade. The petition, filed on October 16, cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, bringing an end to their nearly 28-year marriage. The couple has reportedly been separated since June 27 of this year.
The Raddons share three children, including their 14-year-old daughter, Isla. Naomi is seeking joint legal and physical custody of Isla. The couple has not publicly addressed any custody agreements.
In addition, Naomi is requesting spousal support and that Ryan cover her attorney’s fees. The couple’s financial situation is of particular interest, as Kaskade is one of the highest-paid DJs in the world. While it remains unclear whether a prenuptial agreement exists, the financial implications of the divorce could be significant for both parties.
Ryan and Naomi’s relationship blossomed just as Kaskade embarked on his music career, securing his first paying gig shortly after they met. Friends of the couple have described Kaskade as family-oriented, prioritizing his time with Naomi and their children over the typical party lifestyle.
Kaskade has played a pivotal role in bringing electronic music into the mainstream. From his first major festival appearance at Coachella in 2006, Kaskade has made a mark in history for electronic dance music. With songs, such as, “I Remember,” “Disarm You,” and “Escape,” Kaskade has crafted a signature sound that captivates audiences around the world. This past February, he made history by becoming the first in-game DJ for the Super Bowl. His performances at iconic venues have solidified his reputation as a leading figure in the industry.
The challenges of co-parenting and financial negotiations will play a crucial role in shaping their futures. Furthermore, the music community will continue to support Kaskade as he navigates this personal transition while committing to his craft.
