Did GRiZ perform a secret set at Lost Lands?

Tik Tok sleuths, bassheads, and fans have conspired online over a potential appearance from at Lost Lands Festival.

Griz has played chess with the dance music scene in the last few weeks. After his surprise appearance at Burning Man amid his music hiatus, amateur investigators have been trying to figure out his next step. Did Griz make a secret appearance at Lost Lands?

The most current Griz conspiracy is that he was at Lost Lands, but did not perform. The running theory is that he did not perform as his fans disappointed him at Burning Man where he requested for there to be no pictures or videos, yet both pictures and videos quickly were shared online.

Tik Tok user @babyrosegirl deducts that a man in a hoodie appeared twice on stage at Lost Lands and once at the silent disco. During the silent disco the lights droped, “funky music” played, and multiple people thought it was Griz. Griz is known for his funky and jazzy bass music. It was later shown that it was So Down on the lineup.

The following night at Boogie T, when Boogie T dropped an ID from him and Griz, there was an unidentified man on the stage with him. At that moment, when the second person joined him on stage, the stage went dark, filled with lasers and when the track ended the second person on stage was gone.

In a third potential sighting, that same unidentified person made a possible appearance at Excision B2B Wooli when they dropped their flip of “Ecstacy of Soul.” When the lyric shouted “Griz YA” this unidentified person popped up at the perfect time, quickly exiting the stage when the lyric passed.

Tik Tok user @travistorment, commented, “Can confirm Griz was at LL but can’t confirm if he performed and that’s all I’ll speak on that. Just know I was crying happy tears.” Another user @red.kayla commented, “Nah don’t forget when Zeds Dead said “he’ll be back soon” when they dropped ecstasy of the soul.” Exron Music will confirm when the set is released.

Finally, the Twitter account @isgrizbackyet tweeted before the festival “soon.” Although it is unknown if Griz was actually at Lost Lands it is obvious the community wants him back and is itching for him to take the stage. Come back soon Griz!

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
