Exron Music Has sat down with Ibiza-based DJ and producer, Barbara Nicole, chatting about her life motto, new releases, and on-the-road must-haves.

In a chic hotel just off Canal in Tribeca, Exron Music sat down with producer Barbara Nicole amid her ‘Shiny Objects EP‘ release on the Good Crazy label. Barbara Nicole is a bright, creative, talented, sassy, and empathetic artist who employs the mundane of reality as inspiration in her music, art, and energy.

While radiating positivity (with a dash of real-life cynicism that keeps it honest) she and Exron caught up on her love of art, owning her “hell yes or a hell no” attitude, and how she balances it all while living in Ibiza. Barbara Nicole shines a comforting chaos rallying the human spirit.

Hailing from Boston but now living in Ibiza she has spent time in New York City and San Francisco. Drawing from her experiences across the globe to create her unique sound that is audible in her new EP ‘Shiny Objects’. The EP features 3 tracks; “Shiny Objects,” “Desire,” and “Kitty Wanna Bite.”

Her sound is an extension of her personality; playful, bright, and unapologetically herself. A refreshing energy on the scene, Barbara Nicole is cheeky, and her music relates to the listener. Emphasis on female empowerment is prevalent via her lyrics, which she writes herself. As a producer and lyricist, each track is uniquely hers.

This empowerment is the inspiration behind her label, ‘Good Crazy.’ We’re all a little mad here; crazy is good, fun, and adventurous. We got into her daily habits of manifestation, tarot, and her “hell yes, or hell no,” attitude. 

Having played in Ibiza, Coachella, and the Superbowl, Barbara Nicole has been on a tirade this year. Sitting on hundreds of unreleased tracks, she has a lot cooking for the next year. With a second EP in the works, radiant energy, and a growing label, Exron Music is beyond excited to see what comes next for this star on the rise.
