Tomorrowland announces the debut of their new hard techno event brand Atmosphere

Tomorrowland has revealed that its hard techno event Atmosphere will debut in Belgium with an energetic lineup.

Atmosphere is Tomorrowland’s first event that has been dedicated solely to hard techno. It has shared a lineup with eight producers from different parts of Europe. Belgian artists Helena Lauwaert and NOVAH have been invited to the inaugural event, as have Alignment from Berlin and Holy Preist from Germany. 

UK-based DJ Azyr and French producer Nico Moreno have been added to the lineup as well. A back-to-back with Antwerp native BYØRN and French techno producer VIDO has also been confirmed. Atmosphere has announced that it will kick off its inaugural event on November 22 at Waagnatie Antwerp.

With its long-standing inclusion of every side of electronic music, Tomorrowland is one of the world’s premiere dance music brands. There is no doubt that its extension toward hard techno will bring the genre to thousands of ears. The festival’s Atmosphere Stage, introduced in 2018 with primarily techno artists, inspired it.

The event’s mission reads, “From Tomorrowland to Waagnatie Antwerp, bringing the hard-techno sound to new heights. Surpassing barriers and elevating the global techno community through the unifying power of music.” With its track record in evolving the scene, there is no doubt that Atmosphere will mark an important moment in the genre’s movement.

Tomorrowland was born in Antwerp in 2005 and is now one of the largest festivals globally with approximately 450,000 people attending annually. It has hosted events in other places including Brazil and the United States, but its heart remains in Belgium.
