German techno producer Tham to reveal new trance-inspired EP in late August

techno titan Tham intends to close out the summer with a second 2-track EP release, ‘Sonic Liberation Front.’

Tham, also known as Andreas Thamsen, is an underground German DJ and producer strikingly paving his way through the electronic music scene. He has recently revealed that his second 2-track EP of the summer, ‘Sonic Liberation Front,’ is set to release via Masked Rules on August 30th. This project comes after the release of his ‘Sparks of Fire’ EP that debuted in early July.

Born in the “capital of techno“, Tham grew up on the dance floors of Berlin where his passion for electronic music ignited. His mind-altering techno soundscapes are inspired by deep-driving trance influences, which he intertwines impeccably into his productions to form his unique sound. Tham has been releasing music since as early as 2016 and is marking his territory within the electronic music sphere at an exponential pace.

Performing regularly at esteemed venues like Griessmuehle, Lebendig, and SYNOID, Tham is constantly gaining recognition from industry giants around the world. He has also recently been performing amongst some of the greatest DJs and producers at major events such as Berlin Dance Music Event and Awakenings Upclose, just to name a few. His performances are curated to leave a long-lasting impression, even long after the night (or early morning) is over.

If Tham’s upcoming EP ‘Sonic Liberation Front’ is anything like his most recent EP release, listeners can expect a thrilling combination of upbeat, spacey ambiances with a driving force to get you riled up and keep you moving and grooving on the dance floor. The decision to unveil a brand new EP a month after his most recent one displays Tham’s drive to showcase his artistry to the world without fear, making this forthcoming EP release a career milestone that will not go unnoticed.

Speaking of labels, Tham revealed the launch of his very own imprint, Driller, in 2022. Tham has since featured a wide array of other like-minded artists on his label, creating a tight-knit community of his own and continuously receiving support from artists such as SHLOMO, SPFDJ, Ellen Allien, and many more.

As Tham continues to turn his passion for music into a successful career as a DJ and producer, he keeps on proving that he has a special artistry to bring to the table through every release. Inspired heavily by trance-driven melodies and hard-hitting dance notes, ‘Sonic Liberation Front’ is bound to be one of Tham’s most experimental projects to date. The best is yet to come from Tham as he continues to set the bar high with his impressive discography and scaling performances.
