Amnesia announces first two-day festival in history to celebrate Ibiza season close

Amnesia Ibiza has revealed a two-day closing festival featuring more than 30 artists and a b2b lineup to end the 2024 season.

For the first time ever, Amnesia, one of Ibiza’s most prominent nightclubs, has announced a two-day festival to part ways with the 2024 season. The closing party will take place on October 11th and 12th, hosting 32 artists in both the terrace and main room. Unlike previous years, Amnesia will provide its attendees with an extra night of continuous dancing and immaculate energy on the dancefloor.

Amnesia’s lineup showcases the best in the house and techno industry, featuring solo sets from Ben Hemsley, Claptone, Indira Paganotto, Sammy Virji, Deborah De Luca, Klangkuenstler, and many other talented DJs. The event also includes epic back-to-back performances, such as Adam Beyer B2B Marco Faraone, Hot Since 82 B2B Rossi., and Jamie Jones B2B Joseph Capriati, among others. With the announcement of the two-day festival, Amnesia has unveiled a new theme, ‘Memories Are Overrated,’ on Instagram and Twitter, archiving previous posts. The message encourages club-goers at the closing party to embrace true freedom without focusing on the outside world. Amnesia seeks for its attendees to immerse themselves in the moment and give their all on the dancefloor.

Although not confirmed, fans have suspected that the new message can be hinting at a no-phone policy. The recording of videos has become a controversial topic on social media leading artists such as Michael Bibi and Tale of Us to introduce no-phone policies recently in Ibiza. The aim is to ensure fans are more connected with the music than their phones.

Opening its doors in 1976, Amnesia has become one of the island’s most legendary nightclubs, celebrated for its unique blend of electronic music and vibrant atmosphere. The club remains a beloved destination for both locals and visitors from around the globe with its mind-blowing production and iconic design. Over the years, it has hosted countless unforgettable sets from world-renowned DJs and will bring forth its best event to date this coming October.

As the two-day finale unfolds, attendees will be swept away by dynamic performances and back-to-back sets from top artists, ensuring a high-energy celebration from start to finish.
